The 3% withholding is remitted by the client to the Revenue Department, not to us. Keep the 50 tawi certificate — it offsets your annual tax bill.

If we do start charging

Questions about cost
If it is free, how does the company survive?
Right now it does not — we are funding growth first. The plan is to charge for optional features later, such as promoting a posting or tooling for procurement teams, rather than taking a percentage of what freelancers earn.
Are there hidden fees?
No. The table above is the complete list. The only deduction from an agreed amount is the 3% withholding tax, which corporate clients remit to the Revenue Department by law. None of it comes to us.
Who issues receipts or tax invoices?
The freelancer does, according to how they are registered. Some are VAT-registered and can issue a tax invoice; others can only issue a receipt. Ask before agreeing the work, particularly if your finance team needs a specific document.
If a client does not pay, does JobDee refund me?
No. We never hold your money, so we cannot return it. What we can do is investigate, suspend the offending account, and provide the on-platform record as evidence. The safety page covers this in detail.
Why the limit of 5 postings per day?
It stops spam and accounts that repost the same listing. If you genuinely hire for many roles at once, write to us and we will lift it.
